Stockland Stars
Stockland Green Hills has been supporting local primary schools with the Stockland Stars program for many years. This year, Hinton Public School is again entering the competition, with this year's star created by 3/4H. Please help us to have the chance to win $3,000 in Stockland Gift Cards. Last year, we received second prize and the students are currently using many of the items which were purchased. One 3/4H reading group is currently reading How to Train Your Dragon. These books were purchased using some of our winnings from last year's competition.
The stars will be displayed above the Customer Care Desk. Customers can then vote for their favourite star, with every purchase they make of $10 or more in the centre entitling them to 1 vote. Voters will also be rewarded with weekly prize draws during the program period.
How our school can participate
The theme for this year's star design is "Christmas". This year's HPS design came from an idea put forward by Darcy Howe during a class discussion about the project! The stars will be displayed from Monday 7th November until Sunday 1st January 2017 for family, friends and shoppers to vote for their favourite and help our school win the $3,000 prize.
Customers must register & become a Stockland Green Hills "Bright New Beginning" member at the Customer Care Centre to be eligible to win a $500 Stockland Gift Card weekly voters prize. For every purchase a customer makes (of $10 or more) they will be able to allocate 1 vote to their favourite Stockland Star. There will also be bonus point periods allocated throughout the program.
This year voting will be simple, where shoppers can simply take a photo of their receipt using their smart phone and submit instantly via a dedicated website. For those not smart phone savvy, there will still be the traditional entry method available via Customer Care. See the Customer Care desk at Green Hills for further information.
Each school's voting average is calculated by dividing the total amount of votes accumulated by the number of students enrolled at the corresponding school. So even the smallest schools have a chance to win!
Prizes will be allocated to those schools with the first, second and third highest vote average
When can we start earning votes for our star?
Voting for the Stars will commence on Monday 7th November and will conclude on Sunday 4th December, 2016. Winners will be announced Thursday 8th December 2016.
