Our Principal and Staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Meet our Principal
At Hinton Public School, we believe that strong relationships, high expectations and high-quality teaching are the foundation of student success. As a small school, we are uniquely placed to know our students well, respond to their individual needs, and create personalised learning experiences that support every child to achieve their best.
Our staff are committed to evidence-based teaching practices, including explicit instruction in literacy and numeracy, to ensure students develop strong foundational skills. Teaching and learning programs are carefully planned and adjusted to provide targeted support and meaningful extension opportunities, including for our high potential and gifted learners.
Wellbeing is central to everything we do. We explicitly teach social and emotional skills that help students build resilience, empathy and positive relationships. Our approach encourages students to develop strong values, self-regulation and responsibility, supporting them to make positive choices in everyday school life.
Beyond the classroom, we provide rich opportunities in leadership, sport, environmental education and creative learning. These experiences help students build confidence, teamwork and a strong sense of connection to their community and the world around them.
We value genuine partnerships with families and believe that education is most powerful when schools and communities work together. Through open communication and shared responsibility, we create a learning environment where students feel safe, supported and inspired.
At Hinton Public School, we are proud to work alongside families to develop not only strong learners, but kind, capable and confident young people who are well prepared for the future.

Meet our Assistant Principal, Curriculum and Instruction (APCI)
As the Assistant Principal, Curriculum and Instruction, I am deeply committed to fostering an environment where both students and staff can thrive. My role involves working closely with teachers to refine and implement teaching strategies that meet the diverse needs of our learners, ensuring that we’re not just meeting the curriculum requirements but truly engaging students in meaningful learning. By empowering teachers and guiding instructional practices, I strive to create a culture of continuous improvement, where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
